A Friday Coaching Session With Cordell Learn To Market By Reading What I Have On My Kindle

Developing the Next Generation of Rainmakers A Friday Coaching Session with Cordell: Learn to Market by Reading What I Have on My Kindle I am on airplanes quite often, so I probably have more time to read business books than you do. In January of 2009, I posted my recommended reading list for the year and described how I read business books. If you haven’t read those books and a topic interests you, the books on my list are still worth reading. During 2009, I bought a Kindle so I could have books to read while traveling with a lighter briefcase. Sandra Fava, a New Jersey Family Law lawyer has a Kindle and she asked me what books I have on my Kindle. Sandra is a frequent blogger on her firm’s New Jersey Family Law Blog. Sandra also has a New Jersey Divorce Law page on Facebook where she talks about important marriage and family law topics. I shared with Sandra my list of 12 favorites and I thought I would share the list with all of you. As you will see, lately I have been reading about word of mouth marketing using social media. Trust Agents: Using the Web to Build Influence, Improve Reputation, and Earn Trust by Chris Brogan and Julien Smith Good in a Room: How to Sell Yourself (and Your Ideas) and Win Over Any Audience by Stephanie Palmer The Facebook Era: Tapping Online Social Networks to Build Better Products, Reach New Audiences, and Sell More Stuff by Clara Shih The Anatomy of Buzz Revisited: Real-life lessons in Word-of-Mouth Marketing by Emanuel Rosen. World Wide Rave: Creating Triggers that Get Millions of People to Spread Your Ideas and Share Your Stories by David Meerman Scott The New Rules of Marketing and PR: How to Use News Releases, Blogs, Podcasting, Viral Marketing and Online Media to Reach Buyers Directly by David Meerman Scott The Long Tail: Why the Future of Business is Selling Less of More by Chris Anderson Groundswell: Winning in a World Transformed by Social Technologies by Charlene Li and Josh Bernoff The Think Big Manifesto: Think You Can’t Change Your Life (and the World)? Think Again by Michael Port and Mina Samuels Drive: The Surprising Truth About What Motivates Us by Daniel H. Pink Linchpin: Are You Indispensable? by Seth Godin Crush It!: Why NOW Is the Time to Cash In on Your Passion by Gary Vaynerchuk These are the books on my Kindle I have already read. I am always downloading additional books to read. If you are ever interested in what I am reading, send me an email. I practiced law for 37 years developing a national construction law practice representing some of the top highway and transportation construction contractors in the US.
